King's Cup Rules
The classic card drinking game where each card has a special rule that affects gameplay.
What You'll Need:
- Standard deck of playing cards (remove jokers)
- Large cup or glass (the "King's Cup") placed in the center
- Beer or other beverage
- 3+ players (more is better)
Setup:
- Place the King's Cup in the center of the table
- Shuffle the deck and spread the cards face-down in a circle around the cup
- Each player should have their own drink

When the 4th King is drawn, the person who drew it must drink the King's Cup
Player List
Card Rules:
Ace - Waterfall
Everyone starts drinking. You can't stop until the person to your right stops.
Two - You
Choose someone to drink.
Three - Me
You drink.
Four - Floor
Last person to touch the floor drinks.
Five - Guys
All guys drink.
Six - Chicks
All girls drink.
Seven - Heaven
Last person to raise their hand drinks.
Eight - Mate
Choose a drinking buddy who drinks whenever you drink.
Nine - Rhyme
Say a word, then go around the circle rhyming. First to fail drinks.
Ten - Categories
Choose a category, then go around naming items. First to fail drinks.
Jack - Rule
Make a rule that lasts until the next Jack is drawn.
Queen - Questions
Ask someone a question. They must ask someone else. First to answer drinks.
King - Pour
Pour some of your drink into the King's Cup. Drawer of the 4th King drinks it.
House Rules:
- Thumb Master: When a Jack is drawn, that player becomes Thumb Master and can place their thumb on the table at any time. Last to do so drinks.
- Never Have I Ever: Some play that Queens are Never Have I Ever instead of Questions.
- Social: Some play that 10s are "Social" where everyone drinks.
